Women Power; The Beginning of Success !!

We thank you from the core of our heart for your valuable support through GlobalGiving.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been successfully working for women empowerment and promoting self-employment for a long period. In the series, the organization has taken another significant initiative for providing sustainable livelihood for women. In order to achieve the goal, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors, started garment making training in the village Rajgarh. The organization had a survey and selected 30 school dropout women/girls of poor and deprived community as trainees.

The Public Representative Sarpanch of the village and women representative inaugurated the garment making training and addressed the trainees. During 3-months training, the trainees will learn to measure, cut and sew almost all sorts of attractive designer costumes. The trainees will get training for five hours everyday where they learn the concepts theoritically and practise them practically. It will make the process of learning easier to them. In addition to this, to improve the living standard of the trainees, Life Skills trainig, EDP and capacity building training will also be provided to them. Some entertaining activities as indoor games, sports and cultural activities will also be organized.

At the completion of the training, an exhibition will also be organized to teach marketing strategies to the women trainees. Additionally, certificates will be given to the trainees at the completion of the training. The certificate will certainly help them to get a better job.

We feel so glad to inform you that Mrs. Meenu, an Beneficiary and the master trainer of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been selected for CII Woman Examplar 2018 award. She has reached up to the Semi-final in the race. The award is given every year to those women who work for women empowerment and this year Mrs. Meenu has been selected from Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan. She is a hardworking woman and currently she is a also Board member of the organization. Meenu requires our well wishes to be selected for the finals so that she may get encouragement. We hope that Meenu will be selected for finals also with you support, love and her hardwork.
