Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been organizing vocational skill development trainings at times to make opportunities marginalized, poor, deprived women & girls and school dropout girls so that they may get sustainable livelihood. The organization provides training for several trades as beauty parlour, handicrafts, garment making and bag making.
Such trainings organized with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors increase confindence level of these women. In order to increase the quality of trainings, the trainees learn in both ways theory as well as practicals. During these trainings, exhibition cum sale, EDP, Life Skill, Job fare, sports and other activities are also held by the organization that are helpful to build capacity of the trainees and boost their confidence as well. Certificates are given to the trainees after completing the training to authenticate their learnings. The certificate are helpful for them to get better job. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is always determined to have the impact of its work on the community through which success stories of beneficiary women are often heard. A success story of such a beneficiary woman in brief is given below.
Twenty-four years old Amisha residing at Khanpura, a Kachi basti of the city is one of the beneficiaries of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan. She got herself registered for beauty parlour training held by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan. She was always interested in beauty parlour work but as she was not able to afford the fee of private institutions, she couldn’t get the training. But, when Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized beauty parlour training, she utlitized the opportunity by joining the training. Now, after completing the training, Amisha has been working at a renowned beauty parlour of the city. Her talent got her better job and her family prides on her. Amisha thanks to GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan sincerely.
