We Have Been Getting your Valuable Generous support through GlobalGiving and we are Thankful to you from the Core of our Heart.

In order to make women and girls strengthen and self-reliant in the society, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been working hard and successfully. As there are limited resources of employment in rural areas, women get engaged in traditional sources of livelihood as agriculture and animal husbandry, but these sources don't get them enough remuneration in return as compared to the hard work they do due to which they find it so difficult to meet the basic requirements. RSKS provides firm and sustainable sources of livelihood to rural women and the organization gets support and help from GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors in the welfare of the community.

RSKS has started a five month garment making training recently in Daulatkhera with the support of the donors. During the training, there 15 poor and deprived girls and women as trainees who are learning the skills of stitching. In the training, the training are being taught to make a variety of traditional costumes as ghaghra loogri, salwar suit, frock, rajputi costume, lehnga, etc. and all the trainees learn the same enthusiastically. We conduct theory as well as practical classes for the ease of the trainees.

We also organize several knowledgeable activities as life skill, E.D.P. and sports to motive the trainess and to maintain their interest. Exhibition-cum-sale is also held to make the trainees learn the marketing strategies that gets them information about sale-purchase of the product along with its price. One of our activists had conversation with a trainee and came to know about her interest........

The Story of HOPE:- Seema is a 32 years old married woman resides at Daulatkhera. She has interest in the work of stitching since long time. But, the was lack of such activities and training centers in the rural region, also the fee of urban training centers and the distance between her village the urban centers always restricted her to learn the skills. When Seema came to know about RSKS organized free garment making training in her village, she danced with joy. She immediately got registered herself for the training and started taking classes and learned the skills.

After taking classes regularly, she practised at her place that has got her perfection in her work. Recently, Seema has stitched a designer frock for her 3 years old daughter that is being appreciated by everyone. Her skilled performance got her orders of stitching clothes and she bought a new sewing machine from a part of the earnings and now she is working at her home and earning a sustainable income. Seema thanks RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation for making her self-reliant.
