An Impact Story:- There is a distant village Bandiay of the city where 21 years old Rajani resides with her family and grown up in the rural atmosphere. Rajani had interest in study since childhood but her family's economic conditions forced her to leave study after 8th standard. After leaving study she got engaged in household chores that increased her mental stress. Rajani was in search of source of livelihood, but she couldn't get a sustainable one as there were limited resourced of earnings in the village.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized a skill development training in village Bandiya for poor and deprived girls and women. When Rajani came to know about the training, she got so happy and applied for the training. When the organization found that Rajani was strongly interested in study, our activists met with their parents and motivated them. During the training, Rajani learned to make several designer bags. After taking classes, she did practise at home that got her perfection in skills.

After completing the training, Rajani started making bags at home and took orders. When she got her first earnings, she resumed her study and applied for 10th standard. Now, she studies in leisure and working hard to get pass. She is an example for others as she is doing study along with earnings and making her dreams true. Rajani has future dream to get higher academic qualification and to make other women in the village educated and to create opportunities for them to be employed. Rajani thanks RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation along with the donors.
