Dear Friend's Namaste
Many Greeting from RSKS India
In present scenario, one is identified by his/her skill or talent. A skilled or talented person finds opportunity of being employed anywhere, but in rural & slum areas, we often see lack of skilled or talented persons. In rural areas, due to limited resources the rural community has limited opportunities to be employed. We have to pay high fee to learn some skill or to develop talent at present.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has been spreading skills through its skill development trainings. RSKS, under the project, provides skill development training in different trades to poor and deprived women and girls in rural areas. In the series, RSKS, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors, organized beauty parlour training in a remote village of Vijaynagar city. In the training, 30 women and young girls learned the art of beautification as hair cut, hair art, facial, make-up, eye-brow, waxing, mehndi, bridal make-up, etc. All the trainees learned skills with passion and enthusiasm. As the mode of training was practical along with theory that made it easy for the trainees to learn the skills.
RSKS also organized vermi-compost and Azola processing training under which 30 women attended the classes. During the training, trainees learned to produce organic manure that is made of earthworm. Using the organic manure farmers can have more yield from the fields and it also enhances fertility of the soil. In the training, the trainees also learned Azola processing that is a nutritious diet of milch cattle.
The skill development trainings organized by RSKS are inspected by administrative and higher officials at time to time and we get some suggestions along with postive response from them. In the series, the beauty parlour training was inspected by women public representative of the village who respond positively after inspecting the training. She also appreciated our efforts and had conversation with the trainees. She also wished that such training programs should be organized in the village at times so that rural women may be able to start self-employment at their places that will definitely help to establish an ideal village. The public representative thanked GlobalGiving, Donor'sand RSKS.
