In order to strengthen a society, it is must that the youth must be strengthen in which women and young girls play vital role. A society can never be strengthen and imbalanced until women become self-employed and self-reliant. The limited resources in rural areas is an additional problem for the rural population to be employed and they have to migrate in search of employment due to which women self-employment rate remains low and in th scenario, women find themselves helpless.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has taken an initiative for women empowerment under which we teach skills through skill development trainings to make women self-employed. In the series, RSKS manages beauty parlour training in the city under which 30 poor and deprived women and young girls are being taught the art of beautification. The trainees learn mehndi, eye-brow making, body wax, hair cutting, make-up, bridal make-up, etc. theory as well as practical. We also organize games competition, capacity building trainings, life skill trainines, job fare, etc. for the trainees.
Similarly, RSKS also manages garment making training in village Kadail in which 30 needy women are learning sewing skills. In the training, the trainees are learning to make rajasthani costumes, designer blouses, lehnga, salwar suit, patiyala dress, etc. along with measuring, cutting and sewing. All the trainees learn the skills with dedication and taking step ahead for a bright future.
