Respected Donor,
Warm Greetings from RSKS India
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of Global Giving Foundation and the donors, has organized two vocational training camps under ""Support Sustainable Livelihood To 250 Poorest Girls" project, to economic and livelihood development of the marginalized girls of deprived community.
Beauty Parlour Vocational Education: - Training Camp has been organized for 10 deprived girls at Faridabad and Sansi Basti in the slums of Ajmer, since 20th November 2015. In this three months training camp, these 10 deprived girls are getting trained in eye-brow making, Bridal make-up, facial, bleach, mehndi by skilled trainer, Dimple which may help them to increase their and their family's livelihood. Most of the girls are downtrodden.
Readymade Garment Training: - Skilled trainer Mrs. Asha, in slum area, Nagra, Ajmer has been providing training for readymade garment to 7 school drop-out deprived poor girls of 15-24 age group since 26th November 2015. Under this three months training camp, the girls will be trained for Rajasthani Costumes, skirt, blouse, lehenga choli, Rajputi costume, petticoat, frock, salwar suit and many other costumes by which these downtrodden girls will be able to establish their own livelihood and improve their living standard.
The project is being operated by Chief Executive Officer, Deepak Sharma.
The organisation of this vocational training could be possible with the help of Global Giving and donors. All 17 girls are happy and ambitious. In the words of an eighteen years old trainee, Ms. Mamta........
We have never thought of learning beautician course absolutely free even in our dream because private institutions charge Rs. 8,000 per month per girl to get us trained for the same, and we, downtrodden poor can't afford it, but now, it is just like my dream come true to get trained as a beautician just because of the help of all of the donors. After getting trained, I shall have my own beauty parlour where I can earn Rs. 5,000 per month and thus, I shall help my family and my brothers-sisters economically. The credit for all of this goes to Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, Global Giving Foundation and the Donors.
