It is often said that "Skill is the identity of a person and it doesn't let him die of hunger". This traditional saying has been very common for years and perhaps it is truth of life. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in the collaboration of Global Giving Foundation manages the project for economic and social development of marginalised and deprived girls.
The primary objective of the project is to become deprived girls self-reliant and economically empowered by providing them vocational training. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has organised a two-months Rajasthani Handicrafts Training program and a three-months Garment making vocational training for such 30 girls at block Peesangan in Ajmer. The trainees are being trained theory and practicals by master trainer 5 hours everyday. These deprived girls have been trained to manufacture salwar suit, payjama, blouse, frock, rajputi costumes, lahnga choli, baba suit, peticot, papermeshy and ceremic handicrafts, traditional rajasthani bandanwar art, door bell, puja thali and other decorative arts.
In addition to this, these girls have also been trained for life skills, marketing, enterpreneurship development. All deprived girls are now seem confident after getting the vocational training. Today, these girls are forwarding towards their economic empowerment and stepping ahead to get better livelihood. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan is also providing help them to get bank loans to establish their self-employment and certificates are also being issued which help them to get better job. All 30 girls are so happy and the credit goes to our supporters.
