We are so incredibly thankful to our donors who came together and answered the call to help buy new books for our students.
These students, still working outside with no permanent school building, already face so many barriers to getting an education, from lack of electricity and clean water to malnutrition and disease and yet another barrier was thrown at them this year. The government issued new education guidelines requiring the school to update the curriculum. With no funds for this, we were unsure how to make this happen and yet, thanks to you, we were and now the students and teachers have the brand new curriculum, giving them access to the same education as less impoverished areas of South Sudan.
