FREE HEALTHCARE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN & TEENAGE GIRLS

Project Overview

Our project was born out of the urgent need to support pregnant women and teenagers who are struggling to access quality healthcare. In a country like Nigeria, where economic challenges have deepened, the needs of expectant mothers are often overlooked. With the help of our supporters, we aimed to bring care, hope, and relief to this vulnerable population.

We knew that this mission would be a challenging one, but we believed that every little effort counts in making a difference. With limited resources, we have managed to reach those in dire need, providing them not only with essential medical support but also with hope and a sense of dignity.

STORIES OF THE IMPACT

1. Assisting Mrs. Dorcas in a Critical Time:
One of the most profound moments of our outreach was supporting Mrs. Dorcas, a mother who faced complications during childbirth. Her baby was unable to come out through normal delivery, and she urgently needed surgery. With the funds we received, we were able to provide her with 150,000, which covered her surgery sessions. Thanks to this support, Mrs. Dorcas safely delivered her baby. This assistance not only saved her life but also ensured that she could start her journey of motherhood with joy rather than fear.

2 Supporting Mr. Sam’s Newborn:
Mr. Sam was another beneficiary of our project, facing difficulties paying for the hospital bills after the birth of his newborn. In a time of joy mixed with financial burden, we stepped in to ease his worries. We covered the hospital bill and gave him a gift of pads, which are essential for post-delivery care. This support was a relief for Mr. Sam and his family, allowing them to focus on welcoming their new child without the heavy burden of unpaid medical bills.

3. Distributing Baby Items and Food at AMAC Hospital, Lugbe:
Our project also focused on supporting expectant mothers during antenatal care at AMAC Hospital in Lugbe. During these sessions, we distributed baby pampers and other baby items, ensuring that mothers had some of the essentials they would need for their newborns. We recognized that many of these women faced daily struggles just to afford basic necessities, so providing these items gave them a sense of readiness and relief.

In addition to the baby supplies, we recognized the severe hunger many families were experiencing. To address this, we provided all the mothers with delicious rice and chicken meals from CHICKEN REPULIC FAST FOOD. This may seem like a small gesture, but for these mothers, it was a rare opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal in a time when many go to bed hungry. Their smiles and expressions of gratitude were a testament to how impactful even a simple meal can be during these difficult times.

4. Cash Gifts to Prepare for Their Unborn Babies
We also provided cash gifts to the pregnant women, enabling them to purchase some essential items for their unborn babies. In a period of economic hardship, these funds were a lifeline for many of the mothers, helping them prepare for their new arrivals with a bit more confidence and security. It was heartwarming to see them able to buy clothes, blankets, and other small necessities for their babies—things that many of us take for granted but mean the world to those who are struggling.

: BRINGING SMILES IN A TIME OF HARDSHIP

Despite the challenges we faced, this outreach was a resounding success. It was a huge effort, but we managed to put smiles on the faces of the mothers and fathers we reached. At a time when many were losing hope, we were able to remind them that they are not alone that there are people who care about their well-being and are willing to stand with them.

Our project has proven that even in difficult times, kindness and generosity can transform lives. It has also reminded us of the importance of community and the power of standing together.
