Dear all our supporters, Namaste ! Merry Christmas & Happy Holiday to all
Thank you very much. I wanted to take the time to thank you for your generous donation to The Small World Organization. 100 percent of your donation funds were used to build new and safe school classroom in remote Himalayan community of lower Solukhumbu district to keep children in school which were destroyed by Nepal earthquake in 2015.
The Small World team has discussed with local community members, teachers, parents, students & women groups for about building new earthquake resistance school building using maximume local resorces and local labors to create job opportnity within community to support their family, provide leadership skill and project ownership for long lasting impacts. The model of our project is not just building a school but empowering local community and help them to build their capacity to slove locally their own problem together with community members.
Now, in very first phase of our project, local community members are collecting resorces within community such as breaking stone for wall, making furniture for doors and windows, demolishing school building which are destroyed and damaged by last year Nepal earthquake, clearning project site, making foundation for new project.
Your generous and life-giving support has greatly changed the lives of so many children and families – all of whom were in desperate straits – for the better, with education, and new schools. For this, we can only say ‘Thank You’ a thousand times over, not only for ourselves but also for all of these people who are so very grateful for a happier present and a brighter future . . . thanks to you!
And now, because of your generosity, until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. You'll know what your donation has helped fund, what accomplishments we have achieved and what our current needs are.
I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile. Thank you for investing your hard-earned money on our cause. Please consider telling your friends and family about our project .
