Building 10 classrooms for 500 students in Nepal.

The Small World is committed to ensure all the children are in classroom and complete the full cycle of education specially girls in remote villages of solukhumbhu. We have made significant progress in delivering safe learning space by completing 20 earthquake safe classrooms and benefiting nearly 1000 students. Your generosity has paved a road to education to every one of those 1000 students. Thank you for investing in the future of Nepalese children where they can now choose their own.

Shamjana rai, who is now conitinue studying in grade 9th. she never thought that she would able to continue her education untill we build her school and support her education with sponosoring program supporting yearly $ 300. 

All our works are done in marginalized communities where people have not only lost their families and belongings by the devastating earthquake but have lost their Hope for the future. We worked shoulder to shoulder with people from these communities and as we worked together we shared stories happy and sad, tears and smiles. Now as we see those beautiful brightly colored classrooms we see hope in the eyes of community. Classrooms are not only a learning space for children but community people gather on school off time (when schools are closed) for meeting about their community issues such as development work meeting, women group, cultural program, planning anything within community all coming together in newly build school. These are the moments that brings smile on our faces and tears in our eyes and we would like to share it to each and every one of you who contributed their hard earn money to our projects.

However, there are still many villages across the solukhumbhu where safe learning space and community centers are huge need. Due to the lack of infrastructure and access to educational facilities thousands of children are out school. The causes of being out of school, especially for girls, are multiple and expose the children to many risks including trafficking, child bride and permanent school dropouts. We are still working hard to make it possible for every child to be in classroom and complete the full cycle of education no matter how long the road is we will walk it together.  Tons of thanks again to all of you for continue support by joining hands together supporting our work in some of most remote villages in Nepal after Nepal earthquake to Build Back Better Nepal again.
