Dear All Supporters, Namaste !

On April 25, 2015 a 7.9 & May 12th with 7.3 M. earthquakes struck Nepal. The both earthquakes destroyed over 36,000 classrooms leaving nearly 1 million children unable to return to school. The Small World working communities in Solukhumbu district destroyed 1045 classroom.

The Small World is continue working today even after two year of Nepal earthquake to replace 22 temporary learning shelter which immediately built after Nepal earthquake  into permanent earthquake resistance building design approved by Nepal government. In first year we built 15 new classroom which benefited over 1500 children directly & thousands of children over the year to come continue receiving education some of most remote Himalayan communities of Nepal, where very few other nonprofit due to the remoteness.

The Small World likes to express our deep gratitude from bottom of our heart for your huge support on behalf of hundreds of children who are in school & community member keeping their hope alive for better future again. We are also very happy to share you by building new safe classroom greatly help to reduce force child labors & girls trafficking keeping continue in school during the most crisis situation. Here we like to share our news published in National Observer in North America online about risk of trafficking during the earthquakehttp://www.nationalobserver.com/2015/05/22/news/girls-greater-risk-rape-and-sex-trafficking-after-nepal-earthquake

We feel blessing hearing many powerful stories from local community, teachers & students . Suna Maya Khaling Rai said how greatful she is having new school for  her three children  ages 5, 7 & 11.  She add ahead, if the distroyed school building was not fix, neighter her children would be in school nor able to support her at home and firms. Another 15 years old Bino Rai said, his dream to be teacher would not be come true if we could not able to support his school.

More than these, we were telling on their eyes, smiles & seeing ourselves children studying in classroom and playing again like they already forgot about lost of lives, home & their schools.

By the both devastating Nepal earthquake, only in The Small World working community at Solukhumbu District in Everest region over 1000 classroom were destroyed & still many children are remained out of schools. We are continuing working hard to build 10 more classrooms in this year to benefit directly over 500 children by keeping in school.
