Cufa Delivers Financial Literacy Workshops to PNG NRL Training Academy Students
On 8 and 9 May 2025, Cufa’s lead trainer, supported by a dedicated local volunteer, delivered a series of four financial literacy workshops at the Papua New Guinea National Rugby League (NRL) Training Academy. A total of 120 students took part, representing a diverse group from Central, Morobe and Goroka provinces, as well as the National Capital District.
The workshops aimed to equip young athletes with practical financial skills, including budgeting, saving, and responsible money management—key tools for long-term wellbeing. As PNG prepares to join Australia’s National Rugby League competition in 2028, Cufa is excited to contribute to this significant milestone and foster ongoing collaboration.
