Homes for Homeless Families in Guatemala

Over the past three months, our ServiceTeam program has continued its mission to provide safe, dignified housing to families living in extreme poverty across Guatemala.

Seventeen homes have been built this quarter - each one a foundation for safety, health, and a brighter future.

But behind every house is a story - and Flor’s is one we’ll never forget.

Flor and her husband are a young couple raising three children (and one very loyal dog).

They don’t have much, but what they do have is courage, grit, and an unshakable commitment to their family’s future. When our team first visited their property, we saw what looked like an impossible building site - the land was so uneven, construction seemed out of the question.

But Florand her husband never flinched. Instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, they rolled up their sleeves.

They worked late into the night, side by side, manually flattening the land themselves. Every shovel of earth, every drop of sweat, was an act of love for their children.

And because of their determination - and your support - a home now stands where hope once stood alone. A home that offers safety, dignity, and a peaceful place for three little ones to grow and dream.
