Cara, our volunteer in Santa Rosa, California, delivered 6 cloth diaper kits to families impacted by the wildfires.
"We lost our home and my husband's job. Thank you for helping." ~ Tubbs Wildfire Survivor
The simple gift of a complete supply of diapers is a gift of hope, and love amidst the tragedy. By having diapers, these families are saving precious financial resources to find permanent housing. All six families also said these diapers will reduce stress, and allow them to afford more food.
It's just a diaper, but so much more than a diaper. No disaster relief programs provide diapers, nor do federal safety net programs such as WIC and food stamps.
Thank you for the joy you bring. I encourage you to reach me at stephanie@jakesdiapers.org with any questions. I'd love to hear from you.
