Reducing Poverty and Inequality in Urban Cambodia

Hey lovely supporters!

Did you know that last year in Cambodia, a lot of people couldn't afford to buy food? In fact, a study by Gallup found that a record high of 87% of people in Cambodia struggled to afford food.

Cambodia has one of the biggest gaps between rich and poor when it comes to being able to buy food. Not only that, but the living conditions there are really tough. Unfortunately, the government and authorities aren't making changes fast enough, and as a charity, we can't do it all on our own.

But we have some good news! We're teaming up with a university in Australia that has a special department focused on helping others. They're going to use their researchers, students, and resources to help us come up with a life changing plan to create new, affordable places for people to live in Urban Cambodia. This will go along with our current program to provide food to those in need. Together we can really change the future as local communities need to stay in Urban areas for work so we need to find a waty to generate a better living environment for these families living on top of each other and in extreme poverty. 

It's going to be a busy couple of years ahead, but we're really excited about this partnership. Therefore thank you for your support in the past and just so you know that any future donates or support to us, you'll be helping us continue to give emergency help to the community while we work on giving these families in urban Cambodia a new chance at a better life.
