We wanted to take a moment to share a brief update on Camp Aklowah and the steady progress being made on the site.
Over the past months, work has continued as we shape the space and move forward with key areas of development. Each visit to the land reflects visible change — from site organisation to ongoing improvements that are helping define how the camp will function.
At the same time, we have been working behind the scenes on program planning — thinking through how Camp Aklowah will operate, the types of activities children will experience, and how we can create a structured, safe, and meaningful environment for them during their time at camp.
This phase of development is intentional. We are taking the time to build thoughtfully — ensuring that both the physical space and the program design align with the needs of the children we serve.
