We are now the proud owners of a container, ready to be used as a storage container in our research camp, and we are super excited to free up the current one for a social space, especially as the rains have already arrived. However, the rains, which are very much needed, loved and yearned for every year, can also be quite damaging and have caused the containers in place to subside.
As mentioned in our previous report we were waiting for the contractors to have some time to visit camp to give us a quote for shoring up the containers. The good news is that we have two quotes, the bad news is that it is going to cost a lot more than we had anticipated. So we will have to wait a little longer and rise a little more, but we will get there, we always do, because we have people like you who believe in what we do and want to give us the secure and welcoming home we deserve.
