Thanks to your support, AMC in cooperation with UNFPA in Kosovo and other relevant stakeholders has established the project on Cervical Cancer Screening in the municipality of Mitrovica, Pristina and Prizren in the Republic of Kosovo.
Thousands of women living in these municipalities have been screened for free during 2019. During 2020, we aim to expand the program in the municipality of Peja, to make sure that women living there have access to healthcare servces and free screening.
This program, through Pap tests for women and girls in these three municipalities will help the early detection of abnormal cervical cells and their treatment to prevent cervical cancer.
