Dear AMC friends,
We hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy during these unusual times.
The Cervical Cancer Screening program is continuing even during the pandemic in the municipality of Mitrovica, Pristina and Prizren in the Republic of Kosovo and will be soon expanded in the municapility of Peja.
The Pathology Laboratory in Peja is being completed with needed medical equipment to read the PAP tests but due to COVID-19 there have been some delays. However, we are working hard to launch the program in Peja during December 2020.
This program, through Pap tests for women and girls in these three municipalities will help the early detection of abnormal cervical cells and their treatment to prevent cervical cancer. Your donations are gratefully appreciated and will be used to continue improving the health of women in Kosovo.
All the best,
AMC team
