The Cancer Survivorship & Rehabilitation Support program helps cancer survivors in Ghana recover physically, emotionally, and socially after treatment. Donations provide rehabilitation, counseling, and follow-up care to help survivors rebuild healthy, productive lives.
Many cancer survivors in Ghana face long-term physical, emotional, and economic challenges after completing treatment. Survivors often experience fatigue, pain, mobility issues, mental health struggles, and difficulty returning to work or daily life. Unfortunately, survivorship care and rehabilitation services are limited and often unaffordable, leaving survivors without the support needed to fully recover and rebuild their lives.
This program provides rehabilitation and survivorship support to cancer survivors. Funds will support physical rehabilitation, counseling, follow-up medical care, nutritional guidance, psychosocial support, and skills or livelihood assistance. The project helps survivors regain strength, restore independence, and reintegrate into their families and communities.
By supporting survivorship and rehabilitation, this project ensures that surviving cancer is not the end of care but the beginning of healing. Long-term follow-up and rehabilitation reduce complications, promote independence, and strengthen survivorship care systems in Ghana.
