By Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah | Project Leader
Respected Donors,
Seasons Greetings!
Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is continuing with its vision of providing relief goods and basic necessities of life to the Rohingya Muslim Refugees living in Bangladesh. During the winter season that has just passed, warm clothes along with food were provided to the refugees living in the refugees camp in collaboration with local Bangladeshi NGOs working to minimize the sufferings of Rohingya Refugees living in Bangladesh.
Initially, this project was launched in collaboration with GlobalGiving. However, this project has so far not been able to attract a large number of donors but the relief goods (including food packets, winter clothes etc.) are being sent to the refugees by CHCS through its own resources. Furthermore, CHCS also managed to install hand pumps in the camps in order to supply safe drinking water to the Muslim Refugees living in camps in Bangladesh.
Moreover, CHCS intends to provide continuous support to the Rohingya Muslims in the future also. Therefore, donors from all over the globe are humbly requested to donate generously to this noble cause enabling CHCS to continue providing assistance to the Rohingya Muslim Refugees living in Bangladesh.
Regards,
Asif Mahmood Jah
