The development of the phone-web app has progressed via our collaboration with University of Medellin systems engineering department, University of Antioquia, University Metropolitana & the IT software company ingrapes. Many of the initial modules are complete - nutrition, physicial therapy, and basic disease education. however, several modulaes need further design and development, which we have not been able to complete due to lack of funding. A small beta-testing period was conducted in Antioquia to ensure functionality of the app.
We have also engaged our Univerity partners in filming videos for the exercise & physical therapy modules, and these will be available shortly. In addition, we have obtained translated best-practices guides from our collaboratirs in European and American Huntington's disease centers for the App.
We hope to raise the additional funds and complete the roll-out of the app to the families in Colombia shortly.
