Our project, Casa de los Angeles - Feed 150 kids for a year, is very close to our goal of $15,000. Each and every week day we are able to serve breakfast and lunch to all of the children in our daycare center because of the generosity of people like you. That means more than 300 meals per day when we count our staff, moms and volunteers!
Ana, our cook, is always smiling. When I asked her why she smiles so much she answered that it is because she knows that what she is doing at our center helps our children to thrive. Another little thing to know is that we never run out of food! There is always enough for those who would like second and sometimes even third helpings. I think it is a miracle that Ana can figure out just the right proportions to make sure everyone eats until they are full.
