As we conclude the first quarter of 2024, we are thrilled to share Tiempo de Juego’s progress in Soacha. Beyond our traditional focus on sports, we are proud to showcase the diverse array of activities we now offer, thanks to your unwavering support. Our commitment to our play-based methodology has led us to introduce various enriching activities, fostering socioemotional learning, leadership, and technical skills among our community members.
Our vibrant dance program has been a resounding success, with weekly sessions catering to children, youths, and adults alike. Notably, the inception of the Herencia Solar community dance competition has been a highlight, allowing participants to showcase their unique rhythms, cultural identities, and innovative choreography, fostering unity and the exchange of ideas.
In line with our expansion efforts, over the years we have introduced diverse arts and culture activities including music, crafts, literature, and cinema. Our weekend cinema sessions offer thought-provoking films, stimulating discussions, and opportunities for mutual learning, nurturing their creativity and critical thinking skills.
Our technology-focused activities cater to participants of all ages, imparting both soft and technical skills essential for personal and professional growth. Individuals from young children to seniors engage in hands-on learning experiences that equip them with valuable digital literacy and problem-solving abilities.
