Our donors are wonderful  Angels to us at Centro Infantil de los Angeles, (CILA)!

Thanks to your donations our classrooms and daycare rooms have the basic supplies needed. We currently service 78 children, from 72 different income-challenged families.

Our organization started a pilot Daycare program in October. Our families offered to contribute to the costs of paying a staff person for their children to come to CILA. Meanwhile, we had several older babies who also needed daycare. Our Program Director, Patricia, does what she can to accommodate those families in need. She quickly found a volunteer to staff a room for the older babies. Without pay, she has taken care of these babies as well as anyone who receives pay. In early March, our Board of Directors approved the request to hire this staff person as an employee with benefits required by law. Parents in this group make a small contribution each month to help cover the costs.

Our administrator makes sure we have loving, thoughtful teachers and staff working with the children and families we service.  

For a few days in April, those who make a unique donation via GlobalGiving, toward Centro Infantil will earn a match donation for us. It is called a Little by Little campaign.  To make the most of your donation, please consider making an extra donation April 3- 7^th.
