Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among women in Ghana. Early detection through regular screening is vital for improving survival rates, yet many women in rural and underserved communities lack access to screening services.
The Cervical Cancer Screening for Women in Ghana project aims to provide women with accessible, affordable, and timely screening services. Through this initiative, we plan to identify early cases, provide education on prevention, and refer women for treatment where necessary.
Although donations are still being mobilized, our team has begun planning outreach schedules, identifying target communities, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to implement the program effectively once funding is available. This project will save lives, empower women with knowledge, and ensure timely access to care.
