Thanks to our efforts and your support, we’ve ensured safe water access for over 10,000 people by rehabilitating two essential water systems. Previously powered by diesel, these systems have now been converted to sustainable, solar-powered pumps. This change has made a remarkable difference: families can now rely on a steady, safe supply of water, even during the driest months. For people living through prolonged drought, access to safe water is invaluable!
But the impact goes beyond water. We’re providing vital resources to hundreds of families, including cash support, seeds, farming tools, and hygiene kits. These essentials are not only helping people survive but are empowering them to rebuild: some are starting small businesses like tea and coffee stands, while others are restocking livestock, setting the stage for renewed livelihoods and hope.
Looking ahead, our next goals are ambitious but achievable with your support. We aim to expand our water infrastructure, reaching even more families in need. Additionally, we plan to offer more agricultural kits and training on sustainable practices that will empower community members to weather future challenges.
