Since our last update, we have made significant progress in supporting communities affected by drought in the Oromia region. The solar-powered water systems in Gola Jibriel and Adele are fully operational, ensuring clean water for the communities.
To further assist, we have expanded efforts beyond water access. With AICS support, we have increased seed and tool distribution, helping families restart agriculture. Training on sustainable farming has also begun, strengthening food security.
Economic recovery is advancing. More families benefit from cash assistance, investing in small businesses and livestock restocking. Markets are reviving, with more vendors and trade in essential goods.
Looking ahead, we aim to reinforce community-led solutions, expand training, and support alternative income sources. Your support remains crucial in helping Ethiopian communities build resilience.
