CHANGE LIVES IN ETHIOPIA: ENSURE FOOD AND WATER

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have transformed solidarity into concrete and tangible action. In the heart of the Tigray region, heavily affected by the conflict, we did not stop at providing emergency aid: we have laid the foundations for daily life to restart, ensuring that no one is left behind and that every form of assistance meets the real needs of the people.

Today, in the districts where COOPI works, thousands of people are finally taking back control of their lives.

THE RESULTS WE ACHIEVED TOGETHER:

• Nutrition and cash assistance: we have provided life-saving nutritional support to newborns and pregnant women. Through direct cash assistance, families can now independently purchase what they need most, simultaneously revitalizing local markets and the regional economy.
• Water services: we have improved access to clean and safe water by building and rehabilitating inclusive water infrastructure. Every water point has been designed to be easily accessible, including for people with disabilities, guaranteeing a fundamental right for everyone.
• Protection and well-being: we have activated protection systems and psychosocial support programs, creating safe spaces for the most vulnerable, with a special focus on mothers and children.
