Hi GlobalGivers,
It's been a very difficult moment of lock down in Uganda, children spent two years without a formal education,several others especially girls have been married off as others have been impregnated in the process. As a centre we have manage to secure 23 admission for our 23 sponsored children.
Out of the 23 children 18 have been fully paid of their school dues; 5 children have not been paid for. We also hope to support 35 girl who got pregnant and willing to return to school. SCOEN has few dollars to cover this cost.
Next month we shall put on site some building materials to put up classroom block so that the centre will operate pre-primary section to support many children; so that the dollar you give will support more addition 80 children.
Will you give hope back to these children and girls? Will you talk to someone to support the cause? Will you help take back seven (7) children/girls to school for a school term?
Thanks to the generous past and future investment in this project by our donors through GlobalGiving we will be able to complete construction of the Center, hire staff and purchase needed supplies allowing us to educate children below five years of age so they can thrive and reach their boundless potential.
