Dear Friend,
Dishani, a three-year-old girl, was severely malnourished and weighed only 5kg when she enrolled in the Balwadi run by Seva Mandir with your support.
Dishani's condition was identified by the caretaker and she received timely treatment through the community-based treatment camps, where she was provided with medication and her parents were counselled on nutrition and proper care.
With regular follow-up and care by the caretaker, Dishani gained 4kg and is now a healty child who participates very actively in all the activities at the day care centre. Your contribution played a vital role in her recovery and saved her life from a serious condition that, if left untreated, could have affeceted her normal physical and mental growth.
Balwadis (day care centres) not only provide a safe environment for children, but also fill gaps in childcare and work towards changing childcare behaviours in tribal communities.
We thank you for supporting initiatives that save lives and have a lasting impact on children's wellbeing in tribal areas of Rajasthan.
Thank you for your continued support!
Warm regards
Ronak Shah
Chief Executive
