Overview
This report provides an update on the activities of our Mobile Team for Children with Cancer in Bosnia and Herzegovina over the last quarter. We have continued our commitment to supporting children and families affected by cancer through various services and initiatives.
Key Activities and Services Provided:
Psychosocial Visits and Evaluations
Our team conducted psychosocial visits across Bosnia and Herzegovina, reaching family members in Srebrenik, Brcko, Mostar, Zenica, Sarajevo, and Tuzla. These visits aimed to assess the children's and their families' psychological well-being, providing necessary emotional support.
Medical Support
The Mobile Team provided medical equipment and devices including UV lamps and vein locators for the Clinics in Tuzla. We also supported medical transport for pediatric cancer patients traveling abroad for intensive hospital treatment.
Medical Wigs
The team took measurements for medical wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment, helping to restore their confidence during a challenging time.
Humanitarian Events
Our Mobile Team is included in organizing the Golden Circle Humanitarian Race in Visoko. The event will includ workshops for children, bringing smiles and joy to their faces as they participate in activities designed to empower and uplift them.
Partnerships and Collaborations
We strengthened our collaboration with the UKC Tuzla by opening a Parent house in Tuzla for kids with cancer, focusing on supporting families during intensive hospital treatment.
