OVC FEEDING:
May 2012 Chinsu CBO has used unrestricted funds only as the Globalgiving funds were finished in April 2012. The feeding program were done with much help from Board of Trustees contribution.
OVC in Government sec. sch. Bursary.
Chinseu CBO for the past times has bee able to pay school fees for eight OVC students, very encouragingly the OVC intake has increased from eight to ten this term.
Chinseu CBO GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:
Chinseu CBO with its spirit of minimizing its administration services costs has managed to pay security guards for sometime now all these funds from community, Board of Trustees and the Executive committee contributions.
NEWS:
One girl child Tendai Songwe 9yrs was attacked on her way home after she received her meal, it seems the man wants to defiling Tendai but her friends who run away as they were moving three the two run away and tell the community around who shortly come for the rescue of Tendai. Tendai was taken to Seventh day Adventist Hospital who confirmed Tendai was not defiled, and Tendai says she was not beaten by the man.
The man report was saying the children was scolding him hence he was angry with the children.
The issue is been undertaken by the Village Chiefs at the mean time but the atmosphere is alright currently.
CHALLENGES:
- Chinseu CBO has been unable to meet sufficient funds for these activities above mentioned.
- The diet used at this month was not the same we were using the previous months when GG Finances were at hand.
