It is a culture to show love and belonging to everyone worldwide, especially during the unprecedented times and special times. People are running away from their local homes to shelters due to the winds of change affected by conflicts, wars, or disasters brought by climate change.
Schools are forced to recess or close due to pandemics or unforeseen circumstances. Namibia, as a country, has experienced unprecedented events caused by local disturbances brought on by disease outbreaks, floods, or any other interruptions.
This project became a custodian for taking care of children affected and their families during difficulties to share love and belonging where they would be encouraged, motivated to be passionate, and take on their lives in whatever situation.
By sharing hope with them, it will help children cope and parents to forget their poor background as well as their current situation, helping children to feel responsible for their destiny.
Even though this project was created to take children during the Christmas time, it has become neccessary to expand its objectives beyond this time caused by clamities and unexpected things that are happening in the world and none can predict for what comes in future, thus it is ideal for this project to continue beyond our times.
For now we are preparing to bring together children and families affected by droughts at the end of year during the festive season where they would be provided with gifts and possible school stationery.
