Warm Hearts, full plates

Dear Cherished Friend

Christmas is a significant occasion for Christians worldwide, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time of celebration, feasting, and demonstrating love and compassion towards one another. Sadly, a large number of destitute children residing in slums and deprived communities in Ghana face the harsh reality of hunger during this festive season. Recognizing the urgent need to address this issue, Dels Foundation, in partnership with you our valued donors, launched the Feast of Hope initiative/ christmas meals for the needy.
We  embarked on Feast of Hope 2023 and invited you onboard

1. **Feeding Program:** The cornerstone of the Feast of Hope is the provision of sumptuous and nutritious Christmas meals to the underprivileged children. Through the support of our donors, we fed be feeding approximately 500 children. The meals were meticulously prepared and catered to the dietary needs of the children, ensuring their well-being and nourishment.

2. **Sharing the Love of Christ:** In addition to addressing hunger, the Feast of Hope aims
to bring the message of love and hope to the children. Dedicated volunteers from Dels Foundation engaged the children in activities that foster a sense of belonging and joy. Through storytelling, music, and interactive games, we created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, showcasing the true spirit of Christmas.

3. **Gifts and Clothing:** To enhance the festive experience for the children, we distributed toys, clothes, ballons and other presents. The generosity of our donors allowed us to provide each child with a gift, spreading smiles and creating lasting memories. The gifts were carefully selected to cater to the age and preferences of the children, ensuring their happiness and delight.

**Impact and Future Prospects**

The Feast of Hope 2023 had a profound impact on the lives of the underprivileged children in South La Estate in Accra. By addressing their immediate need for food, we provided them with a nourishing meal during the Christmas season. Additionally, the event fostered a sense of love, kindness, and community, creating a memorable experience for both the children and the volunteers involved.

Furthermore, the Feast of Hope exemplified the power of collective action and philanthropy. The overwhelming support from our donors not only  us  to come close to our initial target but also provided an opportunity to reach 500 children. This success serves as an inspiration to continue our efforts in the future, expanding the scope of the Feast of Hope to reach even more children in need.

This is an annual event and your continuous support will enable us reach many other children in other communities this December 2024. Your continious support will make our make a difference that these children can pay forward
