Today, we would like to feature a recipient of the Claudia Booker Memorial Midwife Scholarship as we thank you for your donations to this vital scholarship fund in memory of our friend Claudia.
Sumayya is a graduate of the Mercy In Action College of Midwifery who has been helped by the Claudia Booker Memorial Midwife Scholarship, both with her initial midwifery education, and again as she prepares to take the board exam to become a midwife, the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) exam. Sumayya has worked hard on both her midwifery education and nursing classes and is preparing to take her board exam this month. We wish her all the best.
Your support of this scholarship has been a priceless help as students work toward their educational goals, with the end goal in mind of helping to improve the health and health care of vulnerable families around the time of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as caring for the newborn.
Thank you
