On International Day of Clean Energy, we will spotlight families like Grace's, who cook daily over smoky fires that damage their lungs and steal hours of productivity. This project will bring clean and affordable energy solutions to underserved communities, thereby reducing pollution, improving health, and unlocking opportunities. Clean energy is not a luxury; it is a lifeline.
Over 100 million people in Nigeria lack access to clean energy. In vulnerable communities, families rely on firewood and kerosene, exposing women and children to toxic smoke, burns, and environmental degradation. Energy poverty fuels poor health, climate damage, and economic hardship, keeping communities trapped in cycles of vulnerability.
We will provide clean energy solutions such as solar lighting, clean cookstoves, and community education. By working with local partners and volunteers, we will reduce indoor air pollution, cut fuel costs, and empower families, especially women, with safer and more sustainable energy choices that improve daily life and protect the environment.
Our long-term goal is resilient communities powered by clean, renewable energy. We aim to reduce carbon emissions, improve health outcomes, and strengthen local livelihoods. By investing in clean energy, we help families thrive, protect the planet, and build a more equitable and sustainable future.
