Access to clean water can be life-changing for girls living in rural communities. In many villages, girls spend hours each day helping their families collect water from distant and often unsafe sources. This responsibility limits educational opportunities and reduces time available for studying and personal development.
Water scarcity contributes directly to school absenteeism among girls. Long walks to fetch water often leave them exhausted and unable to fully participate in learning activities. In some cases, girls leave school entirely due to the burden of household water collection.
This project seeks to change that reality by bringing safe drinking water closer to home. Through sustainable boreholes and community-managed water systems, we are helping remove barriers that prevent girls from reaching their potential.
When girls have access to clean water, they gain more time for education, leadership development, and personal growth. Communities benefit from stronger educational outcomes and greater gender equality.
