In Al-Karama neighborhood, located in the northern Gaza Strip, where the blockade continues to strip families of life’s most basic needs, young Hassan lives with his family in a modest home, facing a daily struggle to access one of their most fundamental rights: clean water.
Due to ongoing water cuts and contamination of local sources, Hassan—like many children—was forced to stand in long lines under the scorching sun, waiting for his turn to fill a small bucket with drinkable water. It was a routine marked by exhaustion and uncertainty, a harsh reality for a child growing up under siege.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to deliver clean and purified water to Hassan’s family and many others in the area. This vital distribution eased their daily hardship and ensured access to safe drinking water, protecting them from the health risks posed by polluted sources.
For Hassan, receiving his share of clean water—without waiting in line or fearing for his health—was a transformative moment. It brought a glimpse of relief and dignity back into his day, and a small return to the childhood he deserves.
Thank you for your compassion and support. Every drop of clean water you help provide is a powerful message of solidarity and humanity for the people of Gaza during these darkest times.
