Field Report of St. Mugagga Boys Home

By Br. Nicholus Nuwagira | Project Leader

Introduction

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our esteemed supporters who have generously contributed to the Clean Water Project for St. Mugagga Boys Home. Your support, whether recurring or one-time, has been instrumental in addressing the critical challenge of water scarcity at St. Mugagga Boys Home, a haven for abandoned and neglected children in Uganda.

Current Challenge:

Uganda is currently facing the challenge of intense heatwaves, making access to clean drinking water an urgent necessity for everyone, particularly vulnerable populations like the children at St. Mugagga Boys Home. Your contributions have already made a significant impact on our progress.

Accomplishments So Far

  1. Area Survey
  2. Drilling of 120 Meter Well
  3. Measurement for Pump Installations

Current Target:

Our current focus is on acquiring a stand and water tank to store and distribute the clean water effectively throughout the home. This is a crucial step towards ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply for the 82 orphans under our care.

Gratitude and Hope for the Future

We express our deepest gratitude to our recurring supporters, whose ongoing contributions provide stability and continuity to our project. Your commitment is invaluable in sustaining our efforts to overcome water scarcity.

To our one-time supporters, we extend our sincere thanks for your generosity and belief in our cause. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal of providing clean water to these deserving children.

Conclusion

With your unwavering support, we are optimistic that we will soon achieve our target of acquiring a solar pump, tank stand and water tank, ensuring a brighter future for the children at St. Mugagga Boys Home. Together, we can make a lasting difference in their lives and alleviate the challenges posed by water scarcity.

Thank you once again for your kindness, compassion, and dedication to making the world a better place for these vulnerable children.
