Dear Supporters,
In the last calendar year, from the joint efforts of Climate Action Now as well as IAHV and N0CO2, we funded the planting of 93,491 trees, yielding over 900 days of work for the tree planters. This includes 29,602 trees from the Global Giving campaign alone. As a result of cumulative contributions, N0CO2 became a Seedling Level Partner on the Eden Reforestation website.
Here is the breakdown:
Here is a video showing the work and inspiration of Eden Reforestation. It is helpful for them to receive funds is through collective efforts such as ours, so that they can focus on getting new trees in the ground and employing local villagers to do it.
Of course, our work is not limited to funding tree-planting. We also spend time on educational outreach, to encourage people to reduce their CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions, and to reach out to other people to do the same. Last but not least, we continue to promote and make available the graphic book for children and adults, "Let's Save Our Planet," also available in French as "Sauvons La Planête." The book, written by Saving Our Planet co-founder Julie Wornan, has been translated into Italian and Spanish, and the Italian publication is in progress. An excerpt of the English version is attached.
Thank you for all that you do.
