By Liza K. Toth | Climate Action Now Project Founder
Dear Supporters,
Thanks to your kind and generous donations, last week Climate Action Now* funded a total of another 22,170 trees, providing 221 days of paid work to villagers who were previously in extreme poverty.
This week's newest funding instalment will bring the total number of trees funded by Climate Action Now, N0CO2 and IAHV to over 140,000, and the total number of paid work days to about 1,400. Accordingly, we are almost halfway to achieving our 300,000 tree-planting goal.
In the last report we noted that N0CO2 will move up to the next level of Eden partnership but erroneously cited it as being the Grove Level, whereas in fact we have moved up from the Seedling to the Sapling Level. The Sapling Level Seal from Eden is included in this report.
As previously noted, in due course and as and when promising opportunities arise, we will address the education and teacher training aspects of our plan.
Thank you again for all your support.
The Climate Action Now Team
