Reducing Disaster Risk of the Vulnerable People

Coastal people fight every single day with the nature. They suffer a lot for their basic needs. Nature is very harsh with them. The people who lived near the sea or in a rivulet river suffer a lot by soil erosion, cyclone. Every year they losses their house, livestock and land by soil erosion. It takes a year to move on but the distractive weather come again. They can’t leave the places as they are very poor to a new startup in a new place or some of them can’t leave the places as they have lived here for many generations. In rainy season the water level increase and they also suffer because of flood.

Most of the coastal people live in hut. So hot sun, rain, soil erosion, flood suffered them a lot. Their huts broken down by this natural hazards. Sometime the whole family live under the open sky. Not only this every day they face drinking water crisis. Most of the water is salty and can’t be drink. So, the coastal people collect water far away from their home.

To save the disaster porn areas people, we all should take necessary steps to protect the nature. Without everyone’s willing participation it can’t be possible.
