Agricultural sector in Bangladesh is gradually driven by an increasing in productivity through the investment of technology and mechanization. By considering the food security and coastal people poverty reduction, Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working for the climate adaptive SMART and local weather information system. By this information system, every farmer can get the weather information through android phone that is available in the community people. This weather information will be updated regularly and farmers can be aware about their upcoming natural hazard/ disaster. They can take precautions by their own capacity and that will minimize the damage rate and reduce economic loss.
