Challenge

Climate change in DRC is causing increased droughts, soil degradation, and reduced agricultural productivity. Over 70% of rural households depend on agriculture, yet many lack knowledge and resources to adapt. This leads to food insecurity, poverty, and environmental degradation.

Solution

The project will support over 500 farmers with climate-smart practices and plant five thousands of trees to restore ecosystems in the rural areas. Training and resources will improve soil fertility and crop yields by up to 30%. Communities will gain resilience against climate shocks and protect their livelihoods.

Long-Term Impact

Over 5,000 people will benefit from improved agricultural productivity and restored ecosystems. Reforestation will reduce environmental degradation and enhance climate resilience. Increased food security and income will contribute to sustainable development and community stability.
