Third Virtual Camp of 2023 was a great success!

By Linda Calhoun | Founder & CEO

AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics Virtual Camp
AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics Virtual Camp

Thanks to donors like you, Career Girls hosted our fourth AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics Virtual Camp. From July 24 - 27, Career Girls welcomed girls for a 4-day intensive camp presented in partnership with the Toyota Research Institute (TRI).

The camp focused on safety in robotic systems, what robots can learn from humans, how teams collaborate to make great things together, and physical interactions to train robots. For four days, campers participated in incredible presentations from women working on the cutting edge of robotics. They got a sneak peek of the exciting work that the women will present to the world soon. In the daily breakout groups, campers spoke with the women of TRI and learned about their path to success in AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics.

One of the most exciting parts of camp is seeing the impact of our programming in action. After attending the 2023 AI, Machine Learning, and Robotics Virtual Camp, 97% of girls reported understanding the education and skills needed for their favorite career.

With your loyal support, we can continue to serve girls worldwide and close The Imagination Gap™. Due to an overwhelming demand from educators, we are concentrating on serving girls through our free in-person programming. Career Girls is committed to expanding our in-school Career Girls Club program.

We look forward to sharing how your donations bring this program to schools and help girls develop the soft skills required for success.

Many thanks and warm regards,

Linda
