Dear Friend,

The Code Her Future Kenya project continues to make significant strides in empowering young girls from underserved communities with digital skills, enhancing their prospects for a brighter future. This quarter witnessed remarkable progress and achievements.

Highlights:

  • Graduation Ceremony: On  2nd December 2023, we celebrated the successful graduation of twelve talented and determined girls from the ICT Center and Digital Library for Girls in Mathare. These graduates completed a comprehensive four-month certificate course, mastering skills in Microsoft applications, Graphic Design, and Online jobs.
  • New Admissions: Following the graduation, we are delighted to announce the admission of fifteen more enthusiastic and driven girls into the Code Her Future program. These young minds have joined our initiative to develop their digital competencies, offering them pathways to academic and career opportunities.

Impact and Outcomes:

  • Empowering Girls: Through the Code Her Future project, we're actively equipping girls with essential digital skills, unlocking their potential and enabling them to navigate the modern, technology-driven world confidently.
  • Bridging the Digital Divide: By providing access to education in areas like ICT, Graphic Design, and Online jobs, we're narrowing the digital gap and creating opportunities for underprivileged girls to thrive in the digital landscape.

Looking Forward: As we enter the new quarter, we remain committed to our mission of empowering more young girls through education and skills development. Our goal is to continue expanding our reach, offering transformative learning experiences, and creating a positive impact in the lives of more girls in Mathare and its environs.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our donors, supporters, and the entire Ready Aiders team for their unwavering dedication and commitment to this cause.

Thank you for your continued support in our journey to empower the girls of Kenya!

Sincerely,

Kenneth Apopa,

CEO
