Empower Albanian rural girls through coding skills

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your generous contributions to the "Empower Albanian rural girls through coding skills campaign." Your support made a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable youth in Albania by giving them the possibility to participate in the "Korça ICT Academy" held during July 2025.

Through this initiative, 100 young people from across the country participated in the program, gaining hands-on experience in programming, app development, and real-world problem solving. The program offered over 80 hours of practical training, led by international instructors from Stanford University and other prestigious institutions in the U.S. and Canada. In addition to technical skills, participants received individual mentoring throughout the year, helping them build connections with global tech professionals.

Thanks to your donations and other contributions, World Vision Albania was able to sponsor 15 vulnerable youth, including 8 girls, to take part in this transformative experience. These young participants were equipped with digital skills that will help them access future education and employment opportunities and contribute to Albania’s digital future.
